Southside pretty much has it all, it is close to downtown Station Square, mintes from the North Shore stadiums, casino, and is heavily poulated with bars, taverns, and restaurants. The Southside ranks up there for rental properties as well with many buildings being bought up and converted into student housing as it is close to Oakland’s CMU, Pitt, Carlow, all of the hospitals, and Downtown’s Duquesne University. Southside has undergone a massive conversion from the old steel mill town to one of Pittsburgh’s most active shopping, dining, and entertainment communities.
